I have hit pan!

Hey Guys! So I recently have hit pan on several products or have found that a few of my products are almost empty. I wanted to share these products with you guys and let you know what I think of them.

The first thing I hit pan on was my ELF eyebrow kit in light. I hit pan on the wax side about a month ago. I am really close to hitting pan on the powder side too! I LOVE this eyebrow kit. It has definitely hit my favorites a couple of times.

I am almost out of my Fergie Take on the Day eye shadow primer. This poor tube has been squeezed to death and there is no writing on the front of the package anymore! I need to go ahead and buy a second one because this is definitely my most favorite eye shadow primer.

I HAVE ALMOST FINISHED A LIP BALM! I feel like I deserve a reward because I have NEVER finished an entire lip balm in my life. This one is the Blistex Silk & Shine. It smells amazing and is really moisturizing.

Next thing I hit pan on is the L'Oreal True Match powder. I am not positive what color this one is, but I can really only use this one as a powder foundation during the winter. The rest of the time I have to use it as a setting powder. I really enjoy this as a powder foundation, not quite as much as I like the Milani Multi-tasker, but I do really enjoy it.

Then I have my most favorite natural highlight. This is the Wet N Wild Take on the Cabana. It gives you the most natural glow without being shimmery. I know I have a long way to go before I ever use all of it.

And a mascara that I have almost finished is the Physicians Formula C+C Organic mascara. I am so close to being out of this. I love this one! It isn't perfect but it gives you a really natural look to lashes and I love that.

And the last thing is the NYC Cover Stick in fair. I can't even tell you how long I have had this concealer. It is so exciting to be almost done with it. This is not a great concealer, but it does okay on light spots.

So there you have it! I get really excited when I hit pan or use up a product. I know a few of these will take me quite a bit longer to totally use it up, but I am glad I am getting close. What products have you almost used up or hit pan on recently? Let me know!

Top 5 Thursday: Favorite Cream Eyeshadows

Hey Guys! It's time for another T5T and today I wanted to talk about cream eyeshadows. You can get the cream ones in different forms, whether in a pot or in a stick form. I currently only have one favorite in the stick form, but it is impressive! So let's go ahead and get started!

My first favorite is the Maybelline Color Tattoo. I was a little (okay a lot) late on this trend, but now that I have gotten a few, I am hooked! I have three of these: Tough as Taupe (which is obviously a taupe color), Audacious Asphalt (which is a silver/grey color) and Rich Mahogany (which is a reddish brown and may have been limited edition). These are so amazing. They are extremely creamy, pigmented and long lasting. The claim to last 24 hours, but I don't ever wear it long enough to know if that is true or not. These are absolutely without a doubt my most favorite. They are perfect for either a base color or to wear on their own.

Next is the Revlon Illuminance Crème Shadow quads. I had one of these a LONG time ago, but recently picked up two to try again. I love them. They are another really creamy shadow. I have Twilight which has a silver blue, a light pink, a light grey and a dark grey. And I also have Va Va Va Bloom which has a burgandy color, a rose gold, a purple and a mauve. I love that they come in quads so that you have several different colors to choose from. I have never worn these on their own, but I do love them as a base color.

The cream eyeshadow that I love in the stick form is the Milani Shadow Eyez. This is supposed to be a 12 hour eyeshadow and I would believe it. I have the colors Sand Dunes which is a champagne color and Aquatic Style which is a teal color. Sand Dunes is slightly glittery bust for the most part they are just metallic. These are very pigmented and metallic looking. It is so easy to get these to go on. They are a perfect base color, but the thing I really love them for is to line the bottom lash line. It just gives you that perfect pop of color.

Another shadow that I love is the ELF Long-lasting Lustrous Eyeshadow. I am pretty sure that the color I have is Gala. This has almost a whipped consistency, but I definitely consider it a cream shadow. These are glittery, but that is what I love about them. I don't usually use them as a base, but they are perfect to add a bit of glittery color over a different eye shadow.

The last one is another one from ELF. It is the new ELF Smudge Pots. I purchased two of these in the colors Back to Basics, which is a golden neutral, and Ain't That Sweet, which is a shimmery pink. I love these. They are creamy and pigmented. I usually apply these with a small concealer brush, but mostly because the pots are a little difficult to get into with my finger. These are pretty comparable to the Color Tattoos for me, but much cheaper.

So, which cream shadows are your favorites? Have you ever tried any of these?

BTW, be on the lookout for a giveaway coming soon!!

March 2014 Favorites

Hey Guys! Today I am here to tell you about my March 2014 Favorites! I am not going to go into too much detail here because there is a video that goes along with this post! Go check out my YouTube channel to watch the video. (It should be up sooooon! I am having problems with youtube!) Let's go ahead and get started though!

Makeup Favorites
The first is the Physician's Formula Cashmere Wear blush in Natural. I love this really natural looking pink blush. It is perfect for a no makeup kind of look.

Next is the ELF baked blush in Pinktastic. This is a beautiful rose gold highlight. It isn't too over the top, but gives you a beautiful shimmer.

The next three are perfect together. The first one is the Maybelline Color Tattoo in Tough as Taupe. This is a beautiful matte taupe shade. I just love the formula of the color tattoo shadows.

This one I am pretty sure has been in a favorites before, but it is so perfect with the two shadows. This is the Maybelline Master Drama eyeliner in Taupe Takeover.

And then there is the Maybelline Quad in Taupe Tease. I love this quad, the shades are perfect for a natural smokey look.

Next is the Jordana Twist and Shine balm in Tropical Frenzy. I am obsessed with this hot pink color and love that this also stains your lips.

Then you have the ELF Brow kit in light. This is seriously the only thing I have been using on my brows for a couple of months now. I absolutely love it!

For mascara, I have the Physicians Formula C+C organic Mascara in black. Someone gave this to me because they didn't like the scent (which is kind of weird). But, you don't notice the smell when you apply it and I love the natural look it gives my lashes.

Last for makeup is the Jordana 12 hour eyeliner in black. This is so pigmented and smooth. It goes on like butter with barely any pressure. And it lasts FOREVER!

I am obsessed with this Covergirl Stay Brilliant nail polish in Vio-last. It is the perfect spring color and the covergirl formula is INCREDIBLE! You should definitely try this out!

 Home Favorites

I love these Ambi Scents Peach Ginger Tea wax cubes. These smell so amazing. They smell so much like a peach cobbler when you are melting them. OMG. I just love these.

My other current favorite scent is the glade Lift Off White Tea and Magnolia. I have this in two different rooms, plus the wax cubes and the room spray. It is AMAZING.

My food favorite for the month is the Rice Works Sweet Chili Chips. I don't have a picture of these because I ate them all before I filmed (oops hehe) but they are amazing. They are the perfect combination of sweet and spicy. You can see what they look like here.

Movie and Book Favorite
My movie and book favorite are the same. DIVERGENT! I am obsessed with these books and the movie. They are my favorite of all time right now!!!

So there you have it guys! What were your favorites this month? Let me know in the comments! And don't forget to check out my video on the YouTube channel!

IONI Cosmetics Swatches

Hey Guys! Today I wanted to share with you a few new products I picked up this weekend and their swatches. I also just wanted to let you know my first impressions of the swatches, packaging, etc. without having ever worn them. I originally heard of the IONI line watching this video from Emily at Beauty Broadcast. I didn't think I had a Fred's anywhere close by though, so I thought I couldn't get it. Yesterday driving around, we found a Fred's and I ran in and grabbed these three products to test out.

The first thing I picked up was a blush. I knew these came highly recommended by Emily. So I picked up the one in Orgasmic. This blush is kind of a pinky color with a goldish shimmer in it. I love this color. It is super pigmented and only $2.50! I will most definitely be picking up more colors in this blush.

The next thing I picked up was an eye shadow in Rodeo. This is a dark shimmery taupe/brown. I really love this color! The only problems I have are that the packaging seems to be a little cheap and the eye shadow is a little powdery. It is pretty pigmented and like I said is a beautiful color. I am going to wear this and see how long it lasts and how it applies before I decide if I want to purchase more. The good news is this was only $1.00!!

The last thing I picked up was a lipgloss in Cinema. This lipgloss was only $1.00! It is a beautiful true red lipgloss. I love this gloss when I swatch it. It seems more like a liquid lipstick, it is super pigmented. I cannot wait to try this on my lips and see how it feels and how it wears.

Overall, from the swatches I am really enjoying these products. I do want to try them (and will do a post when I do!) and see how they wear. I also really want to go back and pick up some other products and try them! I will keep you guys up to date on how I like these and if I do pick up some other products from this line. Have you ever tried this line? If so, what do you think??

TFT: Favorite Lip Sticks

Hey Guys! Welcome to another T5T! This week I wanted to tell you about my favorite lipsticks!

The first favorite has to be my all time favorite and it is the Maybelline Color Whisper. I love the formula of these. They go on so smooth and are such a comfortable lip color to wear. I prefer these over the Revlon Lip Butters any day. They are bright but not too over the top. I have this in two colors and I love them both. I have Cherry on Top (my absolute favorite) which is a bright fuschia pink and Faint for Fuschia which is a paler bright pink.

Next is the Rimmel Moisture Renew Lipstick. These glide on so easy and are so pigmented. I love how moisturizing these are. I have the color Violet Pop and I love the bright fuschia purple color. I thought I had more than one of these, but I can't seem to find the other one.

Another one that I love is the NYC Applelicious Glossy Lip Balm. First let me just say how cute these are because they all have an apple shape in the middle of them. And to top it off, they have the greatest scent! They smell so fruity. I have two of these in the colors Big Apple Red which is a really light easy to wear red and Apple Plum Pie which is a deep mauvy purple color. These are so comfortable to wear and really easy to apply. They aren't super bright so I feel like they are ones you could throw on without a mirror and not have to worry too much about them.

My fourth favorite is from Wet N Wild. It is the Megalast Lip Color. I have these in the shades 904B Rose Bud and 907C Mauve Outta Here. These colors are pretty similar. They are both mauve shades but 904B is just slightly pinker (I actually have two tubes of 904B for some reason?!?) and 907C seems more purple. These are really long lasting lip sticks, though they can be just slightly drying so I do suggest wearing a gloss or balm with them. I am really wanting to get several more colors of this lip stick.

And last is another one from Maybelline. It is the Maybelline Vivids. These are so amazing! They are extremely pigmented! If you like bright lip colors, go with these. I have the color Fuschia Flash and it is the most amazing bright pink color. I also have Vivid Rose and Shocking Coral. I really like how easily these go on. And they have the perfect amount of shine without being too much.

So what do you think? Have you ever tried any of these lipsticks?  What are your favorite lipsticks?

FIF: Maybelline Baby Lips Dr. Rescue

Hey Guys! For today's First Impression Friday, I wanted to do a review on the Maybelline Baby Lips Dr. Rescue. Let's go ahead and jump in!

I bought this product because I needed to spend just a couple of dollars to get reward bucks at CVS. This is one of the cheapest items in the Maybelline line. I also really love all of the Baby Lips that I own (I am thinking about doing a Baby Lips collection video!) so I thought I would give the Dr. Rescue a try.

Now, I have heard some people say that they didn't like these, but I also heard a lot of people didn't like the original Baby Lips either and I love them. I am also a big fan of mentholated chapsticks and balms so I was really excited about these. When I first opened it, I was really excited about the scent. It reminded me kind of Vicks Vapor Rub, which is a smell I remember a lot from my childhood. I really enjoyed it. When I applied it, I can definitely still smell it, but the smell doesn't last a super long time. As far as the feeling on my lips, it goes on smooth and feels moisturizing just like the original Baby Lips. You also definitely get that tingly feeling that you would expect from a mentholated lip balm. Again, that was something that I was expecting and looking for, but if it that isn't something you like, then I would definitely stay clear of these.

For the color, I went with one of the darker shades. I picked Berry Soft. I am pretty sure there is only one that is darker or similar in color. I really liked this color because I figured it would be a good easy to wear color, so this would be nice to just throw in my bag and apply without a mirror or too much effort. I was completely right on the color. It went on deep enough to add a little more color to my lips, without being too overpowering. It was absolutely the perfect color and exactly what I was looking for.

These aren't super long lasting, but none of the Baby Lips are. I do love everything about it though. It is perfect for a light or no makeup day. I really want to get some of the other colors. So, overall, I was really impressed with these. They were exactly what I was expecting, but if you aren't a fan of the mentholated balms, I definitely would not recommend these for you. If you like those kinds of balms and you are looking for one like that with a bit of color, these are perfect.

Have you ever tried the Baby Lips Dr. Rescue? How about any of the other Baby Lips products? Let me know in the comments below and thanks for reading!!

Top 5 Thursday: Favorite Bronzers

Hey Guys! For today's Top 5 Thursday, I wanted to talk to you about my favorite bronzers. Some of these bronzers I use to contour, some I use just to add a touch of color to my face. Bronzer was something I never used to use until I learn about contouring. Now, I am obsessed! So, let's dive on in!

The first one is from Revlon. It is the Photoready Bronzer in Bronzed and Chic. I believe they are discontinuing this which totally stinks! You can find it at the link above, but try your local Big Lots first to see if you can find it there! Emily from Beauty Broadcast loves this bronzer as well. What I love about it, is I can control how light or dark the coloring is. It has four different colors in it that you can pick from, or swirl them all together, however you want to do it. It is a matte bronzer, which makes it perfect for contouring.

Another one that I believe is being discontinued, is the Physician's Formula Cashmere Wear Bronzer in Light Bronzer. I love this one! It is one of the first bronzers that I purchased. It looks a lot more golden in the swatch than how it shows up on my face. It is perfect for me to contour with if I just use the bronze part, and if I want to add some extra color to my face, I just swirl my brush in all the colors. Mine sadly cracked, but I did buy a back up on clearance. :)

I also love the Physicians Formula Sexy Booster Bronzer in Light Bronzer. This one is nice and golden. I can use it to contour with for a nice night out with my honey, but I mostly use it just to add a nice golden bronze to my face. It has the cutest packaging too! It has two colors in it, the bronzer and then the golden which is in the center. I just love this stuff. And, it smells like vanilla which is AMAZING!

The next one was limited edition, but you can find it on amazon. It is the NYC Big Bold Bronzer in ManhaTan. I love this one. It is probably the darkest out of the bronzers that I have, but it is a matte bronze so it is perfect for contouring. This is really pigmented and it is pretty big, so I feel like this one will last me FOREVER.

And the last one is another one from Physician's Formula (I obviously love their bronzers) and it is the Happy Booster Glow and Mood Boosting Illuminating Bronzing Veil. This one is perfect for adding just a hint of bronze glow to your entire face. It is light, but makes a big difference. I used to wear this every single day. The product is a bunch of loose hearts in several different bronze shades and in a golden shade. You just swirl your brush around in them and apply all over your face. Also, this stuff smells like flowers. It is probably my favorite out of all of them.

Alright, so it is safe to say that I really enjoy Physicians Formula bronzers!!! What are your favorite bronzers? Do you even use them? Let me know in the comments below!!

FOTD: March 4, 2014

Hey Guys! Today I wanted to share a quick Face of the Day with you. This is what I wore to work yesterday. I usually try to go pretty light and natural with my makeup when I go to work.
I started with my Milani Multi-tasker (I am in the color tan). I used my Neutrogena 3-in-1 concealer under my eyes. I used my Happy Booster Bronzing Veil to add a little bit of color to my face. I used my LA Colors Glow blush and highlighted with Wet N Wild Reserve Your Cabana.

For my eyes I primed with the Fergie Take on the Day primer and did my brows with my ELF eye brow kit in light. As a base color I used my Maybelline color tattoo in Tough as Taupe. I used my new Taupe Tease Quad from Maybelline. I did the second color all over the lid, the third in the crease, the fourth to line and deepen the out v and then the lightest color to highlight my brow bone and inner corner. Then I lined the bottom lash line with my Maybelline Master Drama liner in Taupe Takeover. For mascara I used my Almay One Coat Get up and Grow mascara. For lips I used the Jordana balm stain in Sweet Pink.

This was the final look. Sorry for the blurry picture, I used my phone to take it. But I think you get the idea. :)

February 2014 Favorites

Hey Guys! Welcome back to another monthly favorites! I can't believe that February is already over and March is here! This year is flying by!! This month I decided to start adding in favorites that aren't just makeup related. Let's go ahead and jump right in!

This is the Jordana Color Effects Eyeshadow Duo. This one is Splitting Image. I love these eyeshadows. They are super soft and not powdery, plus they are very pigmented. This duo is really easy to use for a quick look. The color on the left is a gold while the color on the right is a warm brown with golden glitter. The glitter isn't too crazy, I don't ever really notice it when I am wearing it on my eyes.

I am obsessed with this eyeliner. It is a limited edition one from Maybelline. It is the Master Drama eyeliner in Taupe Takeover. This eyeliner is perfect for under the lower lash line. It can really smoke out a natural look so well. It is the perfect taupe color. I did find it on amazon, but if you want to find dupes, you can check out this video from Kristen Gehm.

This is the NYC City Proof Twistable Intense Lip Color in the shade Brooklyn Brown Stone. This is the most perfect nude shade for me. It is a warm nude which gives me the perfect amount of color. I love how smoothly this goes on and it feels really comfortable on my lips.

And last is the Revlon Photoready bronzer in Bronzed and Chic. You will see more about this in my post on Friday, but I love this bronzer. I love that you can customize how light or dark it is. Looking at the picture I did from light to dark across the top and the bottom is all the colors swirled together.

The next favorite is the Freeman Beauty Dead Sea Minerals Facial Mask. I absolutely love this stuff. I am not going to tell you too much about it because it is coming up in an upcoming FIF. But just know that I LOVE it!

My newest book obsessions are the Divergent Trilogy. I have finished reading Divergent and Insurgent and I am currently reading the last one Allegiant. These books are amazing and I can NOT wait to go see the movies. If you want to read my book review on Divergent, you can do so here.

My food favorite this month is from Bare Fruit Granny Smith Apple chips. These are perfection. You get a whole 3 apples in one bag, they are low in calories and just delicious. I have tried the Cinnamon ones and love them as well. But the Granny Smith ones just have that perfect sour kick to them.

So, what were your favorites this month? Have you tried any of the products that I mentioned? If so, what did you think of them?
