T5T: Spring Nail Polishes

Hey Guys! For today's T5T we are going to talk about spring nail polishes! I don't know about you but I am so ready for spring! My favorite spring colors are pastels. So I rounded up my five favorite colors for spring!!

The first one is from Covergirl and it is the Outlast Stay Brilliant polish in Coral Silk. To start with, I love the Covergirl polishes (which is obvious because there are two in this list). They go on so well and cover completely in two coats. Plus, they are shiny and don't need a top coat and they last a long time on my nails. But this color specifically is just the perfect spring coral. I like that it isn't too bright or too orange which makes it more spring appropriate in my opinion. It is just a really pale peach/coral.

The next one is another Covergirl Outlast Stay Brilliant Polish. This is in the color Vio-Last. This is so beautiful. It is hard for me to describe, but it is a pastel-ish color just darker. I am really pale so a lot of really pastel colors just don't show up on me very well. I love this one because it is really noticeable, but it isn't a neon color.

Next is a Maybelline Color Show Nail Lacquer in the Color Green With Envy. This is a perfect pale mint green. I have only worn this one a couple of times, but I do love it. It lasts a good few days on my nails. This green is perfect if you are looking for a mint polish.

Then we have a scented nail polish! This is one of the old Revlon Scented Polishes in the color Lemon Meringue. What I love about this one (other than the awesome lemon scent) is the color. It is a nice pale yellow, but still has enough vibrancy to show up on my skin tone. A lot of yellows look too pale or too bright, especially for the spring. This color is just the perfect yellow.

And last is the NYC in a New York Minute Quick Dry Nail Polish (wow long name!!) in Radio City Rose. I absolutely love these nail polishes. They dry so quick which is perfect for me because I don't have a lot of time to sit around and wait for my polish to dry. The color is amazing as well. I didn't want to go with a bright neon pink and I found this one in my collection. It is a nice creamy rose color.

Ok, there you have them. What are your favorite colors and polishes for spring? Have you tried any of these? If so, what did you think of them?

Top Five Thursday: Favorite Winter Nail Polishes

Hey Guys! Welcome to another Top 5 Thursday! This week I am going to tell you my top 5 favorite winter nail polishes! I tried really hard to do a variety of brands but for some reason this one ended up being mostly NYC! I do feel bad though because I think most of these are limited edition polishes. If you are interested in them though, I would do a search on Ebay or Amazon for them because I did find most of them there!

The first one is actually a top coat but it is perfect for winter and will make all of your polishes winter polishes. It is the NYC sparkle top coat in Shimmer blast. It is really hard to see in this picture, but this is full of little multi-colored shimmers. It just kind of reminds me of snow. I love this stuff!

The next one is Sinful Colors. This is a beautiful purple polish filled with big pieces of silver and multi-colored glitter. It is #930 and it is called I Miss You.

This red Nicole by OPI polish is the PERFECT red. It is just a really wonderful true red.  I actually earned this nail polish by eating Kellogg's cereal! You can still earn this nail polish through the Kellogg's deal! This one is called Challenge Red-Y.

I absolutely love this pale blue color. It just screams winter to me! This color is really opaque and creamy. This one is another NYC polish and it is called Raindrop.

And lastly, another NYC polish! I love this one so much! It is a cream color with gold glitter in it. It isn't overwhelming with the gold glitter either, which I love. This one is called Enchanted.

There you have it, my top 5 favorites for winter! What are your favorite winter nail polishes?

Top 5 Thursday: Fall Nail Polishes

Hey guys!

Welcome to Top 5 Thursday! This is where I pick a topic and list my top 5 in the topic! This week I am doing Fall Nail Polishes!

My favorite thing about fall colors is that you can do anything from jewel tones to deep neutrals and it all counts as "fall colors". I tried to give some variety in my top 5 (though there are 2 "purple" shades). Hope you enjoy!

1. The first one is an NYC in a New York Minute Quick Dry Nailpolish in the color Battery Park Purple. This one is a very deep purple with a slight berry tint to it.

2. The next one is a WNW Megalast Salon Nail Color in the color 201C Wet Cement. I love this color! It is a warmer grey color. And these Meglast nail colors are amazing. The brush is nice and wide, the color lasts a long time and they dry pretty quick.

3. This one is Petites Color Fever in 534 Raspberry Ice. This one is a sparkly berry color. It is so beautiful!

4. Then you have this dark blue/teal sparkly color from Sinful Colors. This one is 5115 Stormy. I love that this isn't a chunky glitter but it has a really good sparkle to it.

5. And last is my most favorite which is another WNW Megalast color. This one is called Disturbia and is #217B. This one is a deep purple with a berry colored sparkle in it. It is perfect for putting on your toes!

So there you have it! My top 5 favorite fall nail polishes! What are your top 5?
