Bio-Oil Review: Week 1

Hey Guys! I want to start off this post by telling you that the pictures you will see are of ME and MY BODY. I ask for your respect and that you don't post any rude or ugly comments about ME or MY BODY. I know MY BODY is not perfect, I am only putting the pictures here to show you how the Bio-Oil works. Please be respectful.

Anyways, on to the main reason we are here. I started using Bio-Oil about a week ago and I wanted to keep you guys up to date on how it was working. I have LOTS of stretch marks on my stomach from carrying Boo, a large scar on my stomach from a surgery incision that got infected, and I have my new surgery incision scars. I really wanted to see if I could get any of these to be less noticeable, so I decided to give Bio-Oil a try.

I apply the Bio-Oil two times a day like the directions say. I apply it to my skin and rub it in, in a circular motion for a few seconds. I am only currently applying it to my stomach and my new shoulder surgery incision scars.

Here is one of the surgery incision scars (I couldn't get good pictures of the other one by myself). This one is on the front of my right shoulder. The picture on the left is the before and the one on the right is a week into using the Bio-Oil. If you can tell, the one on the right is already starting to lighten up quite a bit.

And as you can probably tell, this is my stomach. All of the stretch marks are from my pregnancy with Boo. And at the bottom middle of my stomach, you can see the large scar from where an incision from my appendectomy got infected. The picture on the top is the before and the one on the bottom is a week into using Bio-Oil. As you can see, the stretch marks and scar are starting to lighten up. Some of the small stretch marks are almost undetectable now.

So, at a week into using the Bio-Oil, I am pretty impressed. Also, I feel like I have barely used any of what is in the bottle, so despite feeling like it was a bit expensive, it is lasting a long time. I will be keeping you up to date on how the Bio-Oil is working, either every week or every couple of weeks. Right now though, I am really liking it!

WIAW and a Quick Review

Hey Guys! Welcome back to another WIAW! I am a horrible blogger today! I was in such a rush to get to therapy on time and to get all my errands done that I totally forgot to photograph all of my food! UHG!! But I will quickly tell you what I ate, and then I have a food review for you!

Breakfast
For breakfast today, I had my usual: A banana, one cinnamon waffle and eggs with cheese and salsa.

Lunch
We had lunch at Chick Fil A today. It was requested by my little guy. I just had a nugget meal with fries. Though, I did not finish my meal.

Snack
For my snack today, I was bad and had a Reese's cup. And it wasn't the dark chocolate ones that I have been loving lately.

Dinner
Dinner is where my quick review comes in. I was craving Mexican food, but had a lot to get done at the house so we didn't want to go out to eat. I looked through my coupons and found a coupon for this.

It is one of the new Old El Paso frozen Mexican meals. We picked up the Chicken Enchiladas. This was only $5.99 at the Target we were at, and we had the $1 coupon. This comes with six enchiladas. I really thought that I had rice at home, but I didn't. I would definitely recommend eating this with a salad and some rice. JP and I both ate three enchiladas a piece.

This is what mine looked like when they were done. I am pretty sure I over cooked them, because the package says to microwave on high for 3 minutes or low for 6. I didn't realize that so I cooked them on high for 6 minutes and then cooked them in the over for the full 25. Another thing to note, the cheese did not look like that! I added extra shredded cheese because there just wasn't enough for me.

But as for the food itself, it was really good. I liked the flavor and the texture. I could have eaten the whole pan. They definitely aren't as good as authentic Mexican food (or maybe even homemade) but they are really good considering they are a frozen meal. I would definitely give these a shot if you are craving some Mexican food but don't want to go out or spend a ton of money.

So there you have it guys. Hopefully I will do a better job of remembering my pictures next week! So sorry about that! Also, I am still having trouble uploading my March Favorites on YouTube. I am giving it another shot tomorrow!
