Grocery Haul!

Hey Guys! Today I wanted to share a grocery haul with you. This was not a regular grocery trip. We have been couponing a bit and trying to build a small stock pile. Today I went to Publix just to grab the Oscar Mayer lunch meat for the BOGO sale (our Publix sales run Wed.-Tues. here). And I found a few other good deals so I went ahead and picked them up. Here is what I got!

The first thing I got was Kibbles N Bits. This wasn't on sale and I didn't have a coupon (sadly) but Cooper has not been enjoying the food we got him previously, so we decided to go ahead and buy this kind that he loves and give the other bag away. I paid $4.99 for this.

When I first walked into the store I saw the sign for the chicken breast as a BOGO. If you aren't aware, Publix BOGO actually just makes each item half price. One pack of my chicken breast was regular $6.98 and the other was $7.34. I ended up paying about $3.49 and $3.67 for them.

This was what I actually went into the store for! The one pound packages of Oscar Mayer turkey meat (they also had ham). I got the rotisserie and cracked black pepper flavors. These are regularly priced at $6.49. I paid $3.24 a piece for them. And the bonus was that there was a $1.00 off two coupon in the newspaper this week. So I ended up paying about $2.75 a piece.

I also saw these when I first walked in the door. I have been trying to find a dessert option for after dinner that didn't have as many calories as the Reese's cups I have been addicted to. These were also on sale BOGO, regularly priced at $3.59. So I paid $1.80 a piece for these. I got the brownie and the chocolate muffin varieties. They each had 4 a piece.

I also picked up a bit of baby food. Matthew loves the baby food fruits and eats them every morning with breakfast. Publix is one of the places that sales it the cheapest so I picked up a few packs. They go for $0.99 there. Matthew picked out the banana berry, pear and pineapple and Hawaiian delight flavors.

And lastly, I picked up 3 pounds of Jennie-O turkey. This was regular priced at $9.99 but I had a $2.00 off coupon for it!

I ended up spending $35.02 for everything. It was a little more than I went in planning to spend, but I feel like I did get a few deals, and we have food for a while. I saved $17.22 in sale prices plus my $3.00 in coupons. Meaning I saved $20.22 which is about 35%.

So what have you gotten at the grocery store recently? Any good deals? Do you like posts like these? Let me know in the comments and thanks for reading.

Small Wedding Haul

Hey Guys! I am sure most of you know that I am getting married this year (If you didn't, then check out the announcement here). This weekend JP and I picked up a few things for the wedding. I know I haven't really done a wedding post, so I decided this would be a good time to share a few of the things we got with you.

The first place we went was Hobby Lobby. They had all their wedding items 50% off.

We got this cake server set for $4.99 (regular $9.99). We will be doing something with these, so they won't look like this on our wedding day.

I got two burlap roses and a stem of burlap leaves. These are for the boutonnieres. They were each $1.99 regular price so we got them for $.99 a piece.

We got this ink pad for a project that we are doing with the favors. It wasn't on sale, so we used a 40% off coupon. It was regular $2.99 so we paid $1.79 for it.

And the last thing we picked up from Hobby Lobby was this roll of hemp cord. We got it for part of the favors as well. It also wasn't on sale so we used a 40% off so I paid $2.99 for it (regular $4.99).

Next was Michaels. I used a 20% coupon that I got off of Retail Me Not. It took 20% off of all regular priced items in my order. I like using this rather than the 40% off of one item when I have several smaller things to purchase.

First I got these super cute heart chalkboard clothespins. They are going to be used for a project I can't tell you about quite yet. These were regular $1.00 a piece so I paid $.80 each.

Next are these wood P stickers. I have no idea what we are doing with these. These were also $1.00 so I paid $.80.

These labels are part of the favor project that I am doing. I got two sets of these craft paper labels. I paid $2.39 each (regular $2.99 each).

I also got these two sets of white labels for the exact same project. They were also $2.99 each regular price, paid $2.39 each.

Then I hit up the Target Dollar Spot. I found these super cute flag craft paper labels. Each pack comes with the craft labels and also tag shaped chalkboard labels on the other side. I only need the craft labels for the wedding. These were $1.00 a pack!

So there you have it. That is just a small haul of some of the things we have gotten. We have way more and I am planning on doing a post on some of our finished projects in a few weeks, so keep your eyes out for that.

It's a HAUL!

Hey Guys! Today I am here to share a haul with you. I picked these things up over the last week or two. Let's dive in!

First, I went to Big Lots and picked up some items on clearance. They have some really good items right now. If I were you, I would go check it out!

I got this Maybelline Color Sensational gloss in 285 Rose Lust. It is a beautiful bright rosy pink color.
Next I picked up a Revlon Lip Butter in 065 Creamsicle. It is a really pretty orange peachy color. I only own one lip butter (other than this one) so I was really excited to pick up another one.
I also picked up a Revlon Diamond Lust eye shadow in the color 120 Night Sky. This is a dark black/grey color with a silver and blue glitter. It is gorgeous! I can't wait to do a look with this.

The last thing I got at Big Lots was this E.L.F. Plumping Lip Gloss Trio. They came in the colors Baby Doll (which is a baby pink color), Oasis (which is kind of a mauvy pink color) and Mauve Berry (which is a light berry color). All of these have what looks like glitter in them, but when I swatched them I didn't really notice it. They also all have a really nice minty smell.

The next place I went to was Rite Aid. They had a really good sale on Physician's Formula so I wanted to get in on it.
First I got the brand new Sexy Booster Va Va Voom Volume Mascara. I heard this mascara was amazing, so it is the only brand new item that I picked up.

I also got this Shimmer Strips trio for smoky eyes. I already own the brown set of these, so I thought the black/grey set would be awesome to have as well.

I picked up the PH Matchmaker Bronzer in Light Bronzer to help push me over the edge of what I needed to spend. This was on clearance for around $4. I have the PH Matchmaker blush and I really like it.

I picked up a back up of the Cashmere Wear Bronzer in Light Bronzer. I already have one of these, but half of it is smashed. This was also on clearance and since I love it so much I figured I should get a back up before they stop selling it.

The last Physician's Formula item I got was the Cashmere Wear blush in Natural. I am hoping I love this blush as much as I love the bronzer.

I also picked up two of the brand new NYC City Proof Twistable Intense Lip Color lip crayons. I picked up 051 Canal St. Coral (right, which is a beautiful bright coral) and 011 Brooklyn Brown Stone (left, which is a dark nude color). I have tried both of these already and I really like them.

The last place I went to was Walmart. I wanted to pick up a couple of face masks that I wanted to try before ordering a large order from Freeman.

I got the Facial Revealing Peel-off Mask Pomegranate. We all know I love my peel-off masks, so I figured I would give this one a shot. I also picked up the Facial Purifying Paper Mask in Star Fruit. This is the first paper mask that I will have ever tried.

So that is my haul Guys! Have you ever tried any of these products? If so, what do you think of them? You can probably expect to see a couple of these things in future First Impression Friday posts!
