March 2014 Favorites

Hey Guys! Today I am here to tell you about my March 2014 Favorites! I am not going to go into too much detail here because there is a video that goes along with this post! Go check out my YouTube channel to watch the video. (It should be up sooooon! I am having problems with youtube!) Let's go ahead and get started though!

Makeup Favorites
The first is the Physician's Formula Cashmere Wear blush in Natural. I love this really natural looking pink blush. It is perfect for a no makeup kind of look.

Next is the ELF baked blush in Pinktastic. This is a beautiful rose gold highlight. It isn't too over the top, but gives you a beautiful shimmer.

The next three are perfect together. The first one is the Maybelline Color Tattoo in Tough as Taupe. This is a beautiful matte taupe shade. I just love the formula of the color tattoo shadows.

This one I am pretty sure has been in a favorites before, but it is so perfect with the two shadows. This is the Maybelline Master Drama eyeliner in Taupe Takeover.

And then there is the Maybelline Quad in Taupe Tease. I love this quad, the shades are perfect for a natural smokey look.

Next is the Jordana Twist and Shine balm in Tropical Frenzy. I am obsessed with this hot pink color and love that this also stains your lips.

Then you have the ELF Brow kit in light. This is seriously the only thing I have been using on my brows for a couple of months now. I absolutely love it!

For mascara, I have the Physicians Formula C+C organic Mascara in black. Someone gave this to me because they didn't like the scent (which is kind of weird). But, you don't notice the smell when you apply it and I love the natural look it gives my lashes.

Last for makeup is the Jordana 12 hour eyeliner in black. This is so pigmented and smooth. It goes on like butter with barely any pressure. And it lasts FOREVER!

I am obsessed with this Covergirl Stay Brilliant nail polish in Vio-last. It is the perfect spring color and the covergirl formula is INCREDIBLE! You should definitely try this out!

 Home Favorites

I love these Ambi Scents Peach Ginger Tea wax cubes. These smell so amazing. They smell so much like a peach cobbler when you are melting them. OMG. I just love these.

My other current favorite scent is the glade Lift Off White Tea and Magnolia. I have this in two different rooms, plus the wax cubes and the room spray. It is AMAZING.

My food favorite for the month is the Rice Works Sweet Chili Chips. I don't have a picture of these because I ate them all before I filmed (oops hehe) but they are amazing. They are the perfect combination of sweet and spicy. You can see what they look like here.

Movie and Book Favorite
My movie and book favorite are the same. DIVERGENT! I am obsessed with these books and the movie. They are my favorite of all time right now!!!

So there you have it guys! What were your favorites this month? Let me know in the comments! And don't forget to check out my video on the YouTube channel!

February 2014 Favorites

Hey Guys! Welcome back to another monthly favorites! I can't believe that February is already over and March is here! This year is flying by!! This month I decided to start adding in favorites that aren't just makeup related. Let's go ahead and jump right in!

This is the Jordana Color Effects Eyeshadow Duo. This one is Splitting Image. I love these eyeshadows. They are super soft and not powdery, plus they are very pigmented. This duo is really easy to use for a quick look. The color on the left is a gold while the color on the right is a warm brown with golden glitter. The glitter isn't too crazy, I don't ever really notice it when I am wearing it on my eyes.

I am obsessed with this eyeliner. It is a limited edition one from Maybelline. It is the Master Drama eyeliner in Taupe Takeover. This eyeliner is perfect for under the lower lash line. It can really smoke out a natural look so well. It is the perfect taupe color. I did find it on amazon, but if you want to find dupes, you can check out this video from Kristen Gehm.

This is the NYC City Proof Twistable Intense Lip Color in the shade Brooklyn Brown Stone. This is the most perfect nude shade for me. It is a warm nude which gives me the perfect amount of color. I love how smoothly this goes on and it feels really comfortable on my lips.

And last is the Revlon Photoready bronzer in Bronzed and Chic. You will see more about this in my post on Friday, but I love this bronzer. I love that you can customize how light or dark it is. Looking at the picture I did from light to dark across the top and the bottom is all the colors swirled together.

The next favorite is the Freeman Beauty Dead Sea Minerals Facial Mask. I absolutely love this stuff. I am not going to tell you too much about it because it is coming up in an upcoming FIF. But just know that I LOVE it!

My newest book obsessions are the Divergent Trilogy. I have finished reading Divergent and Insurgent and I am currently reading the last one Allegiant. These books are amazing and I can NOT wait to go see the movies. If you want to read my book review on Divergent, you can do so here.

My food favorite this month is from Bare Fruit Granny Smith Apple chips. These are perfection. You get a whole 3 apples in one bag, they are low in calories and just delicious. I have tried the Cinnamon ones and love them as well. But the Granny Smith ones just have that perfect sour kick to them.

So, what were your favorites this month? Have you tried any of the products that I mentioned? If so, what did you think of them?

January 2014 Favorites

Hey guys! Welcome back! Today we are going to talk about my January favorites. Now I did not wear much makeup this month to be totally honest, but the few times I did I realized these are the products that I ran to the most because they were the easiest for me to work with.

The first are these two brushes from Satina. One is a powder brush and the other one is a duo fiber brush. I got these in a set that Tara got me for Christmas. I love them because they are super soft but they really get the job done. The powder brush is really dense. And that little do a fiber brush is perfect for highlighting.

My next favorite is a multi-use product and it is the Physician Formula shimmer strips custom bronzer blush and eyeshadow in Miami strip. I love this because I can pull this out and I have my highlighter and my bronzer all in one. I can also use it for eyeshadows if I wanted to. They are really shimmery which makes it the perfect highlighter.

My next favorite is the Neutrogena Moisture Smooth Color Stick in Bright Berry. This color is perfect and I really think it would be flattering on any skin tone. It is also just really comfortable to wear. You can tell that it's really moisturizing your lips while still having really great color payoff.

My next favorite was a Christmas gift from my honey. Its a three pack set of InStain blushes from the Balm. My most favorite would have to be houndstooth it's a really good mauve color. The other two colors that came in the set were Toile and Argyle. These blushes are incredible. They are a staining powder blush and they last all day long. Which is really good for me right now because I don't want to have to do touch ups.

And my last favorite for the month was another sweet gift from my wonderful guy and it was the Nude 'tude pallet from the Balm. This is the cutest pallet. I mean I really love everything put out by the Balm because they have the best packaging. The inside has these pin up girls and the eye shadows block out there in appropriate areas. There are really great colors in here that can give you a perfect nude neutral eye look. I think my favorite colors in here have to be sexy, stubborn, and sultry.  Their eye shadows are extremely buttery. They have amazing color payoff and I just really love them.

So there you have it guys, those are my favorites for the month of January. I really hope you enjoyed. Sorry about the horrible lighting in the pictures! What were your favorites this month?

December 2013 Makeup Favorites

Hey Guys! Today I wanted to let you know about my December 2013 favorites! These were the products that's I used the most. The reason I ran to these so much is that I feel they all create a really wonderful holiday look. Several of these products are ones that I got in a shopping trip that I did at the beginning of the month. I did film a haul for that trip and do plan on getting it posted in the next week. If you are interested in purchasing any of these products, I did link them all below for you. So, if you want to see what my favorites are for this month, then keep on reading!

The first one is the ELF Contouring Blush and Bronzer in St. Lucia. I love this duo. The blush is a peachy color with gold sparkle. The bronzer looks like it has sparkle in the package, but it doesn't come off on your face. I love using this bronzer as a contour. It is deep enough and it isn't orange looking.

I was so surprised that I loved this lip color as much as I did! I am not one for a bold red lip, but this red was perfect on me. This is the ELF Matte Lip Color in Rich Red. I love that it is matte which makes the red not as intense. I wore this to Christmas at my grandparent's house this year and got so many compliments on it. This lipstick is only $3, but I happened to luck up on it at Dollar Tree and only paid $1 for it!

Next is the Milani Shadow Eyez in Sand Dunes. Milani has some of the best shadow sticks. They are so creamy, pigmented and long lasting. I love this color because it is a wonderful metallic nude color. It is a great eye shadow base. My favorite way to wear it, is under the eye shadow that is coming up next.

This eye shadow is the Physician's Formula Baked Collection in Baked Oatmeal. These are the perfect neutrals. They have a wonderful almost metallic finish to the lighter colors and the deeper color comes off almost matte. They are absolutely perfect together.

This is another Physician's Formula product. They make some of my favorite products overall. This is from the Shimmer Strips Custom Eye Enhancing Kohl Kajal Eyeliner set in Nude. This is the middle toned color in the set. It is my favorite! It isn't black, it is more of a pewter color. It is perfect with the two previous products because it isn't too harsh but is dark enough to define really well. I really love this in my waterline as well!

And lastly is this Revlon Cream Blush in Berry Flirtatious. This color is actually a little darker in person than how it looks in the picture. It is a perfect berry shade and I love it for this time of year. It is so creamy and goes on really well. It lasted a while on my skin as well.

Alright, there you have it, my December 2013 favorites! What were your favorite makeup products this month? Have you ever tried any of the products I mentioned above? If so, what did you think of them?

**On a side note, can you believe that it will be 2014 tomorrow?!?!?! Keep an eye out for my 2014 Goals.

November 2013 Makeup Favorites

Hey everyone! So today I am going to tell you about my November 2013 Makeup Favorites! I am planning on doing this every month and at some point I will be adding beauty favorites and home favorites as well! :)

This first one is Almay's One Coat Get Up & Grow. I bought this because Emily of Beauty Broadcast raves about it, but when I first bought it I didn't like it! I have had it for a bit now and it has dried up a touch so I really like it now! It is the only one I have used all month long.

The next is my Maybelline Baby Lips in Strike a Rose. I love this bright color, but it is also really easy to just throw it on real quick and be done with it. I love Baby Lips in general but this one is definitely one of my favorites.

The third one is my Wet N Wild Coverall Cream Foundation. This has the greatest coverage! I just really love this foundation, it is probably my favorite out of all the ones that I own.

This is the Garnier Skin Renew Anti Dark Circle Roller. This stuff is awesome. I put it on while I brush my teeth and then pat it in because it is really runny when you first put it on. So I let it sit and thicken a bit.

Fifth, I have been loving the Loreal Infallible in Strawberry Blonde. I believe this one was a limited edition. It is the best shimmery pink color. It is perfect to use as a base or a high light color. It is just amazing.

And last is this crème eyeshadow set from Revlon called Va Va Bloom. This is the perfect set for fall or winter It has this wonderful cranberry color, a gold color, a plum color and a mauve. These are wonderful base colors. I actually used the cranberry as a base for my Thanksgiving eye look.

So there you have it, my favorite makeup items for November 2013. What were your favorite makeup items this month?
